God Creates the World

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He made light on the first day, and it was good! He made the sky, the land, and beautiful plants. He placed the sun, moon, and twinkling stars in the sky. Then He filled the oceans with fish and the sky with birds. On the sixth day, He made all the animals — and then He made people! Everything God made was very good.
